FAQ 

Here are some answers to a few questions you might have if you’re new to the blog. If you have a question that isn’t here, feel free to drop it in our ask box and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. :3

Q: Why “Capsicoul”?
A: Actually, the lovely Jeyradan came up with the name one day and left it in my ask box! And a few of us loved it so much we decided to run with it and never look back. :3

Q: What is Capsicoul?
A: Capsicoul is the ship name for Steve Rogers/Phil Coulson from Marvel’s The Avengers.

Q: Wow I like this ship! Do you have any good fics or art for it?
A: If you look through our blog, any art will be tagged #fanart or #art accordingly, and fics will be tagged #fic. I’ll be working on compiling a separate page for each type of submission for easy access.

Q: I’d like to submit something, do you have any rules I should know about?
A: Our demands are very few, but we’d like people to adhere to them. If the material you are submitting is not yours, please obtain permission from the person it belongs to before you submit it to us. A big no-no? Reposting material. If you saw a really great fic or pic on your dash, submit the url instead of the actual piece so we can reblog it from its creator. We want to make sure that people are getting credit for all the hard work they put into their creative projects. If you’re unsure of the source, try using a reverse image search on Google to find out. The rule of thumb is, if you can’t find the source, don’t submit it! If you submit without source, we’re going to assume you have the right to. 

Q: Hey! You didn’t give me credit for my art/fic/etc!
A: Very sorry about that! If we’ve posted something that’s yours and haven’t given you credit, please let us know! I can assure you it was not intentional and we’d like to give you all the credit for your work. If you tell us which of your works was submitted without your consent, we will remove it and link to the original piece (if you would be so kind as to provide it). Likewise, if we’ve found your work on deviantArt but would prefer if we reblogged it from your tumblr, let us know! Sometimes we can’t always tells who has a tumblr and who doesn’t. If you would ever like is to credit you to a different source or would simply like you work taken down, just shoot us an ask and we’ll be as prompt and polite about it as humanly possible. We know you guys work hard on the things you make, so naturally any of that is up to you. :)

Q: How come my submission hasn’t been published? I submitted that days ago!
A: Patience is the key! We all have busy lives and sometimes we can’t go through our submissions as frequently as we’d like. (Also Kay is kind of lazy.) Hang tight and you’re likely to see it soon enough. If your submission has been rejected for whatever reason, we will send you a message informing of this.

Q: Where did the badge in your userpic come from? Does it actually exist? How may I acquire one? (Thanks for the question tawghasa!)
A: The pin in our userpic is made by the very talented Pepper at Etsy. They’re available for purchase for the very modest price of $2.75, so they’re really quite a steal!
